NOVI, MI, MARCH 19, 2015 – Novaetus, Inc. announces it has been fully certified by NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance) to conduct Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) CAHPS® surveys for physician practices. The Patient Centered Medical Home is a way of delivering primary care that emphasizes coordination of care and communication between provider and patient. The PCMH CAHPS survey is part of the family of Consumer Assessment of Healthcare providers and systems surveys developed jointly by Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and NCQA to assess patient’s perspectives on care, and to allow meaningful comparisons between practices on domains that are important to patients.
To become an NCQA-Certified CAHPS Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Survey Vendor, an organization must demonstrate that it has the capabilities, experience, and expert personnel to accurately administer the CAHPS survey. Certification require extensive and ongoing training. NCQA is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality. NCQA accredits and certifies a wide range of health care organizations. It also recognizes clinicians and practices in key areas of performance.
